Live in the beauty . . .

I caught part of a Subway commercial a few nights ago in which they had used a background similar to this (the hillside and sun rise) and I knew I wanted to use that idea for a background on a page in my art journal.  I really think this sort of mixed-media art is so fun.  I worked on this one for three days before I decided it was complete.

Watercolor Crayons.

This one is inspired by Dana Barbieri.  I've never been one to free-hand anything - drawing or painting.  Here I did a little of both and had a great time, too.
